A Little History
The "Dispatch" was built in 1954 in Sandusky, Ohio. For over 20 years, it ferried
vacationers to Cedar Point from Sandusky's harbor. Now, renamed the "Sawmill
Explorer," it continues a long history of service.
Reserving the Sawmill Explorer
When you would like to book your group for a exquisite "Sunset Cocktail Cruise" or a "Boating Excursion" be sure to call the Catering Department at Sawmill Creek Resort. Horsd'oeuvres and beverage may be arranged by the catering staff.
As you cruise down the shoreline you will see the beautiful Nature Preserve, Sheldon's Marsh to the east and the skyline of roller coasters and rides at Cedar Point Amusement Park to the left.
